Gingham Floral Ceramic Cup and Saucer – Pink Check Blue Flower Print

Gingham Floral Ceramic Cup and Saucer – Pink Check Blue Flower Print

Pink gingham and blue flowers on the same ceramic surface create a pattern that looks like a vintage tablecloth translated into drinkware. The check lines are painted in a warm pink against a cream base, and small blue flower clusters sit at the intersections and open spaces of the grid. Tiny green leaf strokes break up the geometry and keep the design from feeling too rigid.

The cup is barrel-shaped with a standard loop handle and holds about 200 ml. The saucer is square with rounded corners, matching the cup pattern exactly. The print wraps around the cup and covers the full saucer face, so every angle shows the design.

Why It Works

Gingham is one of those patterns that photographs well. On product pages, it reads as carefully made rather than mass-produced. On styled kitchen shelves, it sits naturally alongside wooden cutting boards, linen napkins, and other cottage or farmhouse pieces. The blue flowers keep it from reading as too sweet or too juvenile, grounding the pink checks with a cooler accent.

Build Quality

The cup is thick-walled ceramic with a food-safe glaze over the printed surface. The square saucer is flat with a slight rim that keeps the cup from sliding. The pattern is under the clear glaze coat, so it does not wear or fade with regular hand washing.

Serving Ideas

Use for afternoon chai with biscuits. The square saucer gives enough surface to rest a cookie or two alongside the cup. Display on a vintage tray with a small vase of fresh flowers for a styled countertop arrangement.
